Installing Windows 7 on my Netbook (Samsung NC10)

Having downloaded Windows 7 Beta 1 yesterday, I have of course been trying to install it this morning.

There are a couple of posts out there about installing it on Netbooks without built in DVD drives.

The one I was following was talking about booting from and External USB Hard drive. We, I tried that! Massive waste of time……

The simplest method was simply to copy the files to the external USB drive and then boot into Windows XP (which is what was on the Netbook). Then simply start the setup from the drive and it will copy all relevant files and install to a second partition.

Simple!

Now I am just waiting for the install to finish!
